Sensing — the network as a radar
A mobile network already fills the air with radio and listens to what comes back. Sensing is the idea that the same signals can also tell the network that something is out there — a drone, a vehicle, a person — even when that thing is not connected to it at all. This quick start says what the idea is, what it was proposed for, which 3GPP groups are building it, and which documents exist so far.
