6.2.10.3 Service Request Procedure

The Service Request procedures for UE in CM-IDLE state are performed as defined in clauses 4.2.3.2 and 4.2.3.3 of TS 23.502 [4] with the following additions for UE Reader operation:

• If the UE is authorised to operate as a UE Reader, then the AMF shall include the "UE Reader authorised" indication in the NGAP message sent to NG-RAN, to inform the NG-RAN that the UE is allowed to perform UE Reader operation for AIoT services.
