3GPP 24.501 v20.0.0 — the document's own text
4.22.5 Support of no-transmit zone (NTZ)
The UE supporting UAS services may support no-transmit zone (NTZ).
If the UE supports NTZ, the UE can have NTZ assistance information.
The NTZ assistance information is a list of entries, where each entry indicates one or more restricted frequency bands of an NTZ, a geographic area where the NTZ is valid, and zero or more time periods indicating when the NTZ is valid. If no time period is included in an entry, the NTZ is valid regardless of the time. Each geographic area is indicated by a polygon as specified in 3GPP TS 23.032 [4B] and minimum and maximum values of altitude. Each point of polygon is indicated by longitude and latitude. Each time period is indicated by minimum and maximum values of date and time in UTC.
If the UE has NTZ assistance information, the UE shall provide lower layers with the most recent NTZ assistance information.
NOTE 1: Enforcement of an NTZ based on the NTZ assistance information depends on local regulation and is UE implementation specific including, e.g. how to determine the UE entered into or exited from an NTZ.
NOTE 2: Subject to local regulation, the UE is not expected to transmit signalling or data when in an NTZ.
