5GS supports PDTQ (planned data transfer with QoS requirement) policy selection and re-negotiation process by taking energy indicator from AF into consideration as specified in clause 6.1.2.7 of TS 23.503 [45]. The PCF may make PDTQ policy decisions based on operator's policy and optionally the Energy consumption information. The PCF may also trigger the re-negotiation of PDTQ policy with the AF.
