5.51.4 BDT based on network energy related information

5GS supports BDT (background data transfer) policy selection and re-negotiation process by taking energy indicator from AF into consideration as specified in clause 6.1.2.4 of TS 23.503 [45]. The PCF may make BDT policy decisions based on operator's policy and optionally the Energy consumption information from the EIF. The PCF may also trigger the re-negotiation of BDT policy with the AF.
