16.23.3 Radio Protocol Architecture for A-IoT Communication

The AS protocol stack for A-IoT radio interface contains A-IoT MAC layer and A-IoT physical layer as shown in Figure 16.23.3-1. The AS layer control information and data are handled by A-IoT MAC layer and A-IoT physical layer. For A-IoT radio interface, there is no differentiation between the control plane and the user plane.
