5.7.5 DO-A Capable AIoT Device Temporary Identifier

The DO-A Capable AIoT Device Temporary Identifier is allocated by the AIOTF. It is used to identify a DO-A Capable AIoT Device temporarily in Inventory Procedure for DO-A Capable AIoT Device, Command Procedure for DO-A Capable AIoT Device, DO-A Capable AIoT Device Registration Procedure and Uplink Application Container Transfer Procedure. The AIOTF may assign a new DO-A Capable AIoT Device Temporary Identifier and provide it to the DO-A Capable AIoT Device.

As shown in Figure 5.7.5-1, the DO-A Capable AIoT Device Temporary Identifier consists of the following components:

  • AIOTF ID: Uniquely identifies the AIOTF that allocates the temporary identifier.
  • AIOTF-Specific Temporary Device ID: A unique identifier allocated within the scope of the identified AIOTF to distinguish the device from others managed by the same AIOTF.
