5.2.2.4 Application-Specific Command

It is optional for a DO-A Capable AIoT Device to support of Application-Specific Command.
When an AF invokes the Application-Specific Command service operation, as described in clause 5.2.2.1, the AF provides the application specific downlink data to be sent to the DO-A Capable AIoT Device. The AIOTF transparently includes the application specific downlink data in a container in the Application-Specific AIoT NAS Command and delivers the AIoT NAS Command in the Command Request step of the Command procedure, as described in clause 6.2.3.
The AIoT Device responds with an Application-Specific AIoT NAS Response that may contain application specific uplink data in a container. The AIOTF receives the Application-Specific AIoT NAS Response in the Command Response step of the Command procedure. If the Application-Specific AIoT NAS Response contains application specific uplink data, the data is provided transparently to the AF, as described in clause 6.2.3.
