5.14 AIoT UE Reader Subscription and Authorization

The UE subscription data in the UDM contains AIoT subscription information which indicates whether the UE is allowed to operate as an AIoT UE Reader.
The AMF determines whether the UE is authorized to operate as an AIoT UE Reader based on its capability and the AIoT UE Reader subscription data from the UDM and sends the authorization indication of AIoT UE Reader to the serving NG-RAN during the UE registration procedure as specified in clause 6.2.10.2.
If the subscription information has been revoked, and the AMF receives the indication that the UE is not authorized to operate as an AIoT UE Reader from the UDM, then the AMF informs NG-RAN that the UE is not authorized to operate as an AIoT UE Reader as specified in clause 6.2.10.6.
