4.2.3 Architecture for UE Reader

In the UE Reader architecture, the AIoT Device communicates with a UE acting as an AIoT Reader (UE Reader). The UE Reader connects to the NG-RAN, and the messages between the UE Reader and the AIOTF are delivered using RRC between the UE and NG-RAN, NGAP between the NG-RAN and AMF, and using an SBI interface between the AMF and AIOTF.
Figure 4.2.3-1 depicts the AIoT System Architecture for UE Reader.
Figure 4.2.3-2 depicts the AIoT system architecture, using the reference point representation.
