One of the main objectives of this work item is to study how the different methodologies in Section 12 of 3GPP TR37.977 [2] can be harmonized to yield the same performance requirement.\nDuring the previous work in 3GPP on MIMO OTA the focus has been on finalizing technical aspects and technical validation of methodologies suitable for MIMO OTA evaluation. This work resulted in approval of TR37.977 and thereby definition of four methodologies suitable for MIMO OTA performance assessment.
