The fact that the network latency is computed, makes it similar to KPIs. On the other hand, existing latency indicators, e.g. in RAN, are measured rather than computed and reported by the network node. \nSo the network latency is similar, but not identical to both \u201cmeasurements\u201d and \u201cKPIs\u201d. Same problem was identified in the SA5 discussions on the NSI\/NSSI performance indicators.\nThe conclusion is that for such performance indicators, we need to create a new category. The name proposed for this category, in case of NSIs, is \u201cNSI Performance Indicators\u201d or NSPIs. Similarly NSSPI stands for \u201cNSSI Performance Indicators\u201d. These names are associated with \u201cNSI\/NSSI performance data\u201d in the TS 28.550.
