To fully judge the impact of Tx diversity on testing and test system design, RAN5 requires defined requirements which need to be tested and\/or an understanding of the expected UE behaviour to be tested, since the Tx diversity behaviour of the UE may impact also TC other than Tx, e.g. RRM, Demod, CSI as outlined in [1].\nFurthermore it is unclear to RAN5 whether the Tx requirements defined by RAN4 apply at UE level or at antenna connector level. RAN5 also would kindly ask RAN4 to clarify the number of UL antenna connectors used for Tx diversity, RAN5 currently assumes that a maximum of 2 UL antenna connectors are used for this. Additionally it is unclear to RAN5 whether FR1 Tx diversity applies from Rel.-15 or Rel.-16.\nAlso RAN5 is of the understanding that current test procedures accurately capture the 1Tx requirements currently defined by RAN4.\n2.
