It is reminded that: Specification rapporteurs are responsible for checking whether any IANA action is required and, if it is, to communicate the request for IANA action to the CT chair, acting as IETF\/IANA liaison. IANA assignment requests for new UDP\/TCP port numbers shall be strongly justified, as IETF has clearly indicated that unjustified port number assignment requests will be rejected. The TR 29.941 should be used to decide whether an alternative to IANA UDP port assignment could be rather used.
