Will the file naming be future proof?\n2.2.\tJson schema files.\nThe schema files define, limit and force what is added in a json file. The same schema file could be designed to be used for both contiguous and noncontiguous json tables. It would, in that case, allow more mistakes to slip through. The suggestion is to have separate schema files. Similar questions might arise later, like: should we have a separate schema file for Intra-band_contiguous_CA for FDD? Or should we update the existing schema file (Intra-band_contigouos_CA_schema.json) if needed?\nThere is a need to review the following:\n\n1.\tThe json files have a link to the specific schema files located in the repo.\n2.\tThe schema files require the json file to contain a \"CalculationToolVersion\" and the schema file will require that the link that is added is a link to the TestFrequencyCalculationTool  repo. This was added to force traceability regarding which version of the \u201cTestFrequencyCalculationTool\u201d was used. This \u201cforced tracability\u201d will most likely have to be updated since it is not compulsory to use the \u201cTestFrequencyCalculationTool\u201d.\n3.\tHow are notes handled in the json format? There are now three possible options to handle the notes from the word tables.\na.\tGeneral Note: Add a note that is general for the hole table. This note cannot be indicated for a specific \u201cRow\u201d or \u201ccolumn\u201d as in word. The note is defined in the schema file and then indicated by setting the tag (defined in the schema file) to true in the json file.\nb.\tNew column: When a note is used for many rows (carriers) in the word table for several tables, it can be handled as a new \u201ccolumn\u201d in the json file (see the parameter \"adjusted\" in the json files).\nc.\tSpecific Note: When the note is specific to one table, there is a possibility to add a specific note for the table and indicate that note for a specific row (carrier). However, the immediate problem is not the increasing number of CA combinations that are supported in RAN5. The immediate problem is rather related to that the new CA combinations added have an exponentially increasing number of bandwidth (BW) combinations that all need to have associated test frequencies defined in 38.508-1.   \nAt RAN5#102 it was decided that when a new CA combination has too many possible BW combinations, the number of BW combinations to be presented in DOCX format shall be reduced. The reason for this is that the DOCX files would not be functional with all the BW combinations included in the DOCX tables.\nRegarding storing format, processes and ways of working RAN5 is following the RAN4 activity: \u201cBand Combination Database for simplifying the RAN4 specifications\u201d (see RP-253522 [2]). The ambition is to reuse formats and processes that is decided\/approved in the RAN4 context.\nIn this contribution, we present the status in RAN5 of the test frequencies in json format and what steps are planned next. The following observations have been made:\nObservation 1: RAN4 plan is to make the transition to Band Combination Database during Rel-20.
