These features are also interesting for public safety use cases. Since the deployment of FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System) pilot networks is approaching and the demand for Mission Critical Services (MCS) is increasing, consequently the need for Mission Critical Services (MCS) testing on 3GPP-compliant networks is growing. RAN5 has completed the UE conformance tests for MCS for Release 15 and Release 16 and started Release 17.
