RAN5 needs to keep abreast of the AIML WI progress in RAN4 and do early contributions when necessary._x000D_\n Proposal 1: RAN5 leadership to coordinate meeting TimeTables to enable RAN5 delegates with an interest in AI\/ML to participate in RAN4 AI\/ML discussions._x000D_\n Observation 2: Being quite different from the traditional UEs, considering AIML models will be constantly updated after the devices are officially announced, AIML UEs will need a brand new conformance testing\/certification methodology. RAN5 has rich experiences in UE conformance testing\/certification, which will probably be very helpful to devise a new scheme to test\/certify AIML models before and\/or after the AIML devices hit the market. Proposal 2: RAN5 should consider to join RAN4 discussion on Issue 1-1._x000D_\nObservation 3.1: It deserves RAN5\u2019s early attention on the following items to avoid potential testability issues, including _x000D_\nSNR power level is high enough_x000D_\nimpact of multiple-AoA test setup_x000D_\nthe channel condition_x000D_\nwhether the ground truth will be changing_x000D_\nObservation 3.2: It deserves RAN5\u2019s early attention on the following items to avoid potential testability issues, including how to implement AoAs during the test, whether\/how to implement UE rotation during the test, how similar we can make the test conditions to field deployment conditions. _x000D_\n Proposal 3: RAN5 should consider to join RAN4 discussions on Issue 2-3, 2-5 and 2-6._x000D_\nObservation 4: There seems to be no test plans\/needs on the table for positioning accuracy enhancements at the moment.  _x000D_\n Proposal 4: RAN5 does NOT need to directly participate in RAN4 discussions on Issue 3-2 or 3-3, and only monitor progress and conclusions._x000D_\n Observation 5: RAN5 needs to consider how to apply the encoder and decoder in the conformance testing. Inputs from TF160 might also be needed to make sure the conformance among the different encoders\/decoders implemented by different TE vendors._x000D_\n Proposal 5: RAN5 should consider to join RAN4 discussion on Issue 4-1._x000D_\n Observation 6.1: As per [2], agreements about the parameters used in the simulations for checking the feasibility of testing options for CSI compression and prediction is as below.
