Therefore, this paper proposes to study the need for unification of management aspects of event exposure service to avoid redundancies and enable better functionalities. \n\nBased on observation 1 and observation 2, Samsung proposes to study the following aspects as part of CT3 working group.\n1.\tAnalyse current event exposure mechanisms in 5GC and develop the related key issues.\n2.\tEvaluate the need for unifying event exposure [CT3 study]\na.\tCentralized mangement of event exposure (e.g., using existing NFs with an SCP (Service Communication Proxy) based approach)\n3.\tStudy the requirement of advanced features (e.g., events replay) as part of event exposure functionality [CT3 study]\n4.\tStudy of various protocols (e.g., AMQP, MQTT) that are suitable for 3GPP event exposure [CT3 study]\n5.\tStudy the impact on network architecture [CT3 study, potenital SA2 dependency]\na.\tWith unified event exposure, individual NFs are responsible for reporting of events triggered at the NFs and unified event exposure functionality is responsible for event exposure (e.g. managing the subscriptions).
